Flying a famous band to a gig in Morocco
The tour manager of a famous American band asked us to help arrange a private jet charter for their next gig, requesting an ultra-long-range jet to transport 10 passengers from San Diego to Morocco. The lead singer of the band is a nervous flyer with specific requirements, so we set about finding a solution he was comfortable with.
Our Solution
Route: San Diego > Marrakech
Aircraft: Two Gulfstream G650s
The lead singer wanted to use a particular airline, who unfortunately had no suitable aircraft available for their requested dates. Instead, we suggested another operator who we work with regularly, reassuring the client of their reliability and experience. After sourcing several quotes and discussing sleeping configurations, we decided the best option was to split the group between two Gulfstream G650s so everyone could relax in a bed onboard.
Due to operating hours at the departure airport in San Diego and an issue on the ground in Morocco, the client’s preferred departure and arrival times had to be adjusted. On top of this, our team had to manage multiple passenger changes. We worked directly with the operator and kept the tour manager updated throughout, ensuring both flights went off without a hitch.
